this picture is totally cool.
i have to agree with the hands... they look a little too jarring for the rest of the smooth flow of the picture, but i guess it's hard to not do that when you're in her situation... anyway, i really like it. the hair keeps the picture from just flying right off the top into nothing.

I would agree that the figure is too stiff--that fact is espeically apparent in the hands, which are just tense. Difficult as it may have been in the cold, it would be better if she had relaxed a bit. Besides that, this is actually quite a good image. I love the choice of cropping (although with her head tilted back, the neck looks a little unnatural and that fact is exaggerated by the cropping). The colors are amazing--I love the fairly rich red tones of the skin, especially in comparison to the stark whites and blacks of the snow, dress, and highlights on the skin.
It's a very artful shot--so much so that I wouldn't even put it in the romantic section--it looks more like fashion photography. Interesting capture, great colors, and thank you to Sarah for posing in the cold, cold snow.

I agree, she does look stiff, but every time I told her to relax, she'd shout IT'S 26 DEGREES OUTSIDE, SHUT UP AND TAKE THE PICTURES!!!! so I did. Fashion photogrpahy you say? well, that's not exactly what I was going for, so I don't know if I'm offended, ok, I'm not. Maybe it's something to consider exploring...

I think the fact she looks cold and stiff go well with the unnatural black and white color of the dress. Thats what caught my eye with it. Good shot
