great concept, I love the grain and the focus and the pose
Only (small) critique would be that I'd crop out the black stripe at the top... it drags my eyes away from the words.

i have to tell you. The dark contrast of the jeans and words really draw your eye not to just one thing..and for this..this is perfect..i love the perspective and clearness of this as well. Very moving somewhat at the idea of standing upon a written word..must feel powerful. great tone work

very impressed...gives me the "childish innocence" feeling yet still sophisticated from the writing...good balance and good focus!!

ooh-- the sepia works very well here. and i also like how the DOF drops out although i kinda wish it had dropped out more. but alas--
the post of your cousins feet on the words almost make it seem like she represents the youth who dont care about the old liturature. a reckless youth (yep thats me! heh) i think this is due to her dainty looking pose. mm yea
intreguing photo!

seeing this picture i was reminded of how US and UK manipulated the media for their benefit in the Iraq war, this is a symbol how powerful ppl can dominate and enslave independent honest ppl.
sorry if u think its weird but this is how i feel
perfect shot in terms of clarity, u have a very active imagination.

Mmmm, what a wonderful model that cousin of yours is, the crossing of the legs = great idea! I really see this as being a powerful message kind of piece. What a nice way to portray the text, especially because everything else is blurred. One thing kind of bother me though, I think its a bit crooked.. like how you can only see part of the last line, its really just a technicality, but great shot regardless. Hmm.. that camera sounds very nice.

yes she is, thanks for the comment, i did notice the crookedness myself, but it looked worse when i rotated and cropped it a bit, so i left it.....

this is such a neat pic. It's so easy to look at..
nice tones and crisp focus... the words, even though they are bold, don't really distract from the subject...

What a nice concept
I love the sepia toning of the image, it's kind of different too, not the everyday picture, so this is great
