It's such a shame that people are wiping out this species as well as hundreds others. So many cute little babies lose their mothers, and others don't even get a chance to be born. Thank you for such a darling picture

No one knows.....There are some theories. Like maybe contaminants from our governments aerial spraying, or polluted water from run off from land based spraying. Disease introduced by foxes which have recently invaded our Island, no one is certain.......

Awww, so cute! What exactly is it? It looks sort of like a bear cub. He's adoreable, but what a sad story that they're endangered because of some genetic disease. Poor things

It is A Tasmanian Devil, one of our famous mamal species. You would have seen Disney's Taz Devil, well this is where he came from. A carnivorous, little eating machine. About the size of a Fox terrier but more muscular...

I've seen the cartoon, but he looks so mean and always whirl around in a little tornado. This one looks so cute and harmless though

Sharp teeth and long claws. When these guys feed they eat everything, bones, fur, meat, entrails, the lot. Nothing goes to waste.

I'd hate to run into one then that hasn't been fed in a while. They still look very cute, considering they're so tough
