so this is the last update till it's finished, i just wanted you guys to see the eye. its clear resin cast with blue dye. its kinda hard to see the swirls around the eye, but i did my best with the camera. after its painted it should show up better. next up is carving.EDIT: almost done! I just have to wait for something to dry and then i can finish the handle! I should be done carving by today if all goes well. Been on and off, which is why it seems like its taking a long time. Only really been about 15 hours.

Thanks, i just finished carving the bottom section of the red wing. It's pretty thin and it could tear, but once the gloss goes on, i hope it gets a little stronger. Plus, thats how it's supposed to be.

thanks, it only took 2 tries before i got the 2 i used. one of thoe i tried to embed the pupil, but it ended up having bubbles around the pupil, so the buyer said it was alright that i just painted the pupil on under neath since i would have to buy more resin, which means he wouldve had to pay a little more. stuff's expensive

Do you mean the bones in the wings? I'm gonna carve them from the wood, i may have to glue another layer in certain parts, but all wood.

Thanks! One of the eyes is actually the slightest cloudy( i dint know how to describe it, it was tacke and looks sticky?) anyway, i just have to get some clear nail polish and that'll fix it. Plus, my dremel died just now, i got it a month and a half ago, too. Gotta get a new one today.

yeah i already got a new one, the cheapest one they had this time, just to see how long it lasts. watch it last longer. the other one was a 4000 series. supposedly the best yet.
