Description
Finally, the redesign for my beloved dragoness.<3
She was one of my first characters and for a long time the only female. She started out as a scribble during an art block by playing around with perspective and wings. Her design was horrible back then and changed a lot over time, I believe this is my fourth attempt at giving her a look that I like. So yeah, basically I changed her face from horse-like to lion-like, cut off her Maybelline-mane and gave her an additional pair of wings as well as horns. The colour scheme stayed nearly the same, just got a bit darker and spread on new, more defined markings.

Species:
Sky or Skyria is a female common cliff dragon, a species that lives in huge packs by the sea, using the strong winds there for an easier takeoff. These dragons are very peaceful and don´t have many natural enemies due to their size (around 2m/6,56 feet in height, wings excluded). They are usually slow runners and can´t climb very well, but once in the air are skilled and arduous flyers. Only the females sport the second, smaller pair of wings, that enables them to maneuver faster and more precisely. Because of this mostly females are in charge of scouting the area surrounding the nest for bait and enemies. The males are more bulky and faster by foot, but slower in the air. They are in charge of hunting bigger mammals or fish. If an enemy approaches, the females escape with the hatchlings by flying or climbing down the cliffs to a point where they can´t be reached, while the males gang together to scare off the threat. Cliff dragons aren´t monogamous and have annually up to 4 hatchlings per litter.

Character:
If Skyria was human, she´d be around 35. She has a down-to-earth personality, is calm, patient and caring. She has raised several litters and is an experienced mother. When she was still a hatchling, she fell down the cliff where her packs nest is located and splintered her right horn in the process. Because the horns of females don´t regrow it will stay like this until she dies. While neither her markings or her colour scheme aren´t uncommon for cliff dragons, the combination of these two is. None of her hatchlings share the same, while only one of her siblings does.

She can be drawn with Verdura and Gabbaro (finiens.deviantart.com/art/Bor… , Feykir and Chianti (finiens.deviantart.com/art/Cha… , please ignore her old, ugly ref in there XD). She only really knows Feykir out of these four, though. They are friends and Sky takes care of him from time to time.:>
