I'm sorry to bother and I hope you don't mind me asking, but...
How do you get that perfect, smooth gradient-look with markers?

hm....I just color it over and over again. Until you can see the entire image from the back side of the paper. (I use somewhat thick paper, too.)

i like to use pantone markers. but they seem hard to find these days. so recently i've been using copic markers. they are really nice.

Wow. This is beautiful! It's very smooth and the hair just melds with the rest of the piece (it almost looks like she's wearing her hair).
