Merlin was raised by a rather insular group of Centicorn wizards that lived deep within the forests. Growing bored of their ways, he left his home to travel the land.
He is quite ignorant of the outside world, but somehow he seems to get by just fine. According to rumor, he has ties to some sort of clandestine organization.
