Description These creatures have eight legs with suckers on the tips and a sharp thin proboscis. They will grapple a victim with their legs and insert their proboscis to suck blood and soft parts out of the victim, leaving an empty husk. They are thick-shelled, crab-like, yellow-green beetle-like monsters (possibly closer to Terran crustaceans?). This creature is very agile for its siz: it can run at great speed, climb walls, and even hold onto projections or cracks in a ceiling. The usual specimen measures 10-15 feet long and is about 6 feet in length. The common name for the Ngrútha is "the Leech".
