Description
"God... what am I gonna do now?" John said as he puts out the last stick of cigarette.The devil laughed. And so now he calls God?
"I still can't believe you fell for that... again!" said the devil, still laughing at the plight of John.
Why wouldn't he? Countless times has John fallen into the devil's trap - bribes from hopeful suppliers who wanted to win John's approval on their bid.
"How did the company find out? What the hell am I gonna tell my family now? What about our way of life?"
"Heads up, John..." said the angel, as she tries to fight her disappointment, "The storm is yet to come."

A storm could mean a lot of things - fear, hope, courage, etc. I figured my style wouldn't be effective if I drew a climate change. So, being a pencil artist inclined to drawing people, this is how I would draw a storm.
Please join if you're up to it. They've got some yummy prizes too.
Drawn with a 0.5 2B mechanical pencil and a smudge stick on a regular, 90 gsm letter paper.

Apparently, this has been sitting in my "Favs" folder for over two years and I never commented on it...
Honestly, this looks so much like me that it is eerie, right down to the parted hair, the anguished face, and the tie and slacks! Excellent work with traditional means! So much detail rendered, especially the texture of his hair and the folds in his clothes, and even the leafy epidermis of the sprites there.
The articulation of the fingers is very good, too! Well done

Reminds me a bit of a scene in Family guy with the angel and demon except it goes horribly wrong. The angel caps the demon and forces Peter to do the right thing.
