Description
It took me a long time to muster enough patience to finish this. Like my 'Procrastination' art (see below), I left this one unfinished thinking how crappy I started it. It was supposed to be my character Lia.

Then the other day I was looking at it and thought how awesome it would be if I'd actually give it a chance to reveal itself. So while listening to Jim Dale reading Deathly Hallows, I started adding details to the wings using a Faber Castell 3B pencil, then darkened the background with a 6B. I intended not to use my trusty mechanical pencil, well, basically just to break the habit even just for this piece.

I'm really glad at how my fellow deviants received it so far. I feel like I've revived a long, dormant FireCaster. My thanks to all.

Sorry for the crappy background, I was supposed to put somekind of cloud vortex above her head but I had a change of heart and covered it up again. You might notice the unevenness of the coat there.
