Forgot to post this when I was obcessing over my animation.
Even though I was psyched over finally putting these guys to paper after more than a year in my head. Interestingly enough, this is a bit different from the base design so....yeah.I've created the elementals. No, not fire water or any other mediocre elemental you can see everywhere; but an elemental of Elements found on the Periodic Table. So I am pleased to present to you the Elemental of Antimony, 51st and killer of monks. Sb, also called Stibium in latin if you ever wondered why the symbol never quite matched the name. Want to know more, look it up.

Edit: It has been brought to my attention that the name monk-killer is dubious at best. So I looked it up again; From the Greek words "anti + monos" meaning "not alone" (the origin of the symbol Sb comes from the Latin word "stibium" as found at webelements.com.

This guy's pretty sweet, I gotta say. I really like how you composited such a unique fantasy animal. You don't see nearly enough with that great cobra-esque hood you've pulled off so well. You nailed that cross hatching, too. very nice!!

Well as a start, I continuously critique the movement of any animal I see. I think I've convinced strangers that I'm not from around here by the way I would stare at a "common" animal like a seagull or squirrel, or make an effort to watch them for just a few seconds more. And if there is something I like, I'll critizise what I saw to find out why I did. This of course leads to a lot of annoying people when I watch an animated animal and I start breaking down what they did or didn't do wrong.
You do fine with poses as far as I see. This feels sorta bland in my opinion, but I think it's because I feel that I've seen it in a dozen other places.

You know, I don't think it means "monk killer", though that may be how is got it's name. Anti I believe is more accurate to "rival" considering that Antares means "rival of mars".

Actually "Anti" is more accurately translated as 'not'. I looked it up, so I fixed it.
