My parakeet! I was holding the stick and waving it around on one hand, and taking the photo in the other. There is a reflector on the floor, and we are doing this in front of a window (hence the bokeh)More photos on Flickr [link]

Aw, that's so sad! I try to make it a point to take out my budgie every once in a while and clip his wings (just the primary feathers). That way, he can still fly, but he can't fly upwards.
