Name: Helen Snowy owl

Nickname(s): Princess

Species: Snowy owl

Gender: Female

Age: She’s around her teenage years

Description: She has white feathers with some black spots in place, long, wavy, very dark blue hair that almost looked black, a mane that’s a blue color as well, along with her beak being a dark gray color, and purple talons. Her eyes are what stand out the most, though, as they are an elegant purple color like gems, and it’s rare for owls to have that color for their eyes. She's taller than Kassidy, Holden, Shade, and Marina but smaller than Orestes and the giant bats.

Background (I recommend not reading this if you have not read WtWC to avoid possible spoilers): Helen was born an only child to her parents, King Boreal and Queen Alethea, and growing up, she had a special bond with her mother, but as her father stands he was kind of a stranger to her. He was there, but her mother took care of her more as her father attended to his duties most of the time, so he barely got to bond with his daughter. Even though that was, her mother always reassured her that he loved her even if he usually didn’t show it. Being King was just a lot of work, was all.

One day, Helen met her soon-to-be friend Orestes when they were unfledged. Their mothers introduced them to each other, and their friendship instantly clicked, even though they were quite the opposites. However, as they got older, they barely got to see each other until they no longer did for a while, especially as Helen had duties of her own, like preparing to soon one day be queen. While she took her duties seriously, she never failed to feel the hole in her chest of great loneliness. Helen lost her mother to a natural disaster; she hadn’t seen her friend in a long time, and her father was barely around. And it didn’t help that she had a secret that she had never told anyone; it was a gift but, at the same time, a curse.

However, things would change for her when she shadows her father and gets to see Orestes again after such a long time.

Personality: Helen is a poise owl who takes her duties seriously. Unlike most owls she doesn't jump to conclusions right away and likes to hear both sides of the story before taking a side she feels is in the right. In most situations, if necessary, she does some acting and is actually pretty good at it, she tries to be levelheaded most of the time, and she is very kind, caring, and is always ready to listen to someone and give some advice to those she cares about.
