I dunno how accurate any of this stuff is.I only live here, after all.
Haha but really, this is all just stuff I heard. <3
And like, I've only lived in one of these places, and my experiences with the people from other places hasn't been immense or anything, so if my generalization of a region is just toootally off, I'm sorry. xD
Also, my spelling of "yooper" is just phonetic; I have no idea if that's how it actually goes. xD
When I think east, the first thing I think is Detroit, which makes me think GANGSTAS, but I know a couple people from the better parts around Detroit, so... Have the strange middle-ground of baggy sweaters and beanies.
When I think west, I think Grand Rapids, which makes me think conservative businessmen and also art students and art and also art, and I'm not gonna draw a businessman, so. Have the smokin' (literally) kid in a hoodie.
And the U.P. makes me think of huntin' and wilderness. And mountain men?
I don't even.

Also, for some reason there is Mackinac Bridge, Mackinac Island, and Mackinaw City?
And they're all pronounced "mack-in-awe"?

For some reason, I never knew of this difference between east and west side. I didn't even know people used Michigander or Michiganian!! D8 I used them interchangeably.

Hehehe, G-Rap! XD Totally contradicts my view of GR, but I love it. Yeah, for some reason, I've always had a "grass is greener" view of the place...but from what I hear, it's not really the case.
We also had automatic sprinklers there, and no sprinkler there. That can make a difference.

I don't remember, I went to their wedding when I was like 6. XD It was in the middle of nowhere though....they lived 50 miles from the nearest town, in the middle of a huge forest that we went fourwheeling in.
