Time to show how the anotus and the humans interact with each other in Nidraka. Since they are both hunted by dragonesses for food, its only natural they found ways to help each other.

Nagasteel, an alloy obtained from smelting iron with the metal contained in the tail of silver-tailed nagas, is the single sharpest metal in all of Nidraka, almost supernaturally so. The anotus are the best at naga hunting but are unable to manipulate molten metal. So they trade the tails with the humans in exchange for a portion of the weapons forged from them so that they might protect their nests from dragonesses. However, anotus verbal communication is a mix of clicks from their mandibles and transmissions of their feelings with their antennas. As such verbal communication with humans is impossible. Instead, all communications between the two species are written. It took a long time for the humans to teach them their written language but the resulting nagasteel is more than worth it.
