This is my St. Valentine's Day picture; it's a symbolic illustration for Regina Doman's Fairy Tale novel trilogy, particularly Waking Rose, but the main set up is based on a scene from Shadow of the Bear, where Rose meets Fish. Now Fish is one of the COOLEST CHARACTERS EVER.
He is so awesome. I luv him. But I've tried many times to draw him and never liked how they turned out, until with this one I hid his eyes. Mysterious.

Nice! Fish and Rose aren't my favorite characters, but I love the way you portrayed them! And I love the background touches with the skyscrapers and the medieval tower.

I supposed I never liked how Fish was moody all the time. And Rose was nice, but I just happened to like Blanche better since she was more practically-oriented.

Mmm, I see. Most folks prefer one couple or the other... I for the first two books liked Blanche much better than Rose but I always loved Fish best of all!
