Derpy was a commission for Derpyhooves2010 . It's the first time I've made Derpy with Dusty Blue rather than grey minky! I actually love the color combination - it's so soft and inviting. Derpy is made of Dusty Blue and Yellow minky, with applique details.Related content

Omg that's absolutely adorable!!! I love what you've done with the hair and the new mare head patterns. The front profiles are fantastic!! (I've noticed they seem to the be the most challenging I guess?)

Oh my gosh she's so cute!! I love the expression!! And I'm glad you tried her with Dusty Blue this time! Derpy in dusty blue is my favorite. It looks so good with the yellow. Plus, I think her coat is slightly blue-tinged in the show as well. It really makes the colors pop in general. Also, her little wings look so cute.

I think the dusty blue is the perfect shade... It has a bit of grey in it, or it's not straight up blue. I feel like in photos it looks a lot more blue than it is in person, but maybe that's just me (or maybe it's the lighting in my room that makes it look that way? Lol)

I think it's just one of those things that's pretty subjective. Minky acts weird in different lights, too, because the pile (fuzz) affects the way light bounces off of it.
