I really enjoy well done abstracts.A fractal abstract is a great treat.Cloth would be nice. However i would prefer a stunning carpet of this wonderfull image!!

That's so pretty Mary, I really like the gold tone and there are so many details to look.
Could it be that there a texture is which lies about all others and lends to the whole
composition this slightly antique touch?

Thank you Denise! Yes, there are some textures which overlay the whole set of panels. You can see how I did this if you got the upr from the class Bulletin Board. It will be in the Extra Challenges from Lesson 2.

Thanks Mary. You're most welcome!
Normally I open all the homeworks but this time a bit behind because of all the other stuff.
But now I'm ready and I'll catch up all the last images before I start with the new lesson.
I really like those subtle antique touch.

This is really beautiful! This looks like some of the collage-type fabrics you see from India and Bali, usually in silks with gold highlights. I love those fabrics... It was a wonderful idea and this is a great execution of that idea! The use of a consistent gradient throughout the image reinforces the idea even further: it makes the look of fabric stand out by keeping to a color family. The masking almost takes a backseat to the images themselves, but regains its importance upon close inspection...the masking really helps the idea of fabric by making each image stronger and clearer. You did a fabulous job on the entire image and each of its components.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment! I was trying to find a texture that gave it the look of a sandwashed silk.
Thanks for the too!
