Description
Similar to what I did before for Britannia, now the set of official flags for the EU of the same (Code Geass) timeline. Mostly expanding on the theme of the national flag, some playing with Napoleonic imagery.Used stocks by Heralder on Wikicommons.

Heh, looks good, especially the European Government logo. But when I look at the Dictator of the Union and European Army banners I can't see what they meant to represent, but the emblems of the Spanish Military Advocate and Land Army Staff respectively. You could have at least changed them a little. Anyway, nice designs nonetheless.

Interesting designs. I like the mixture of traditional, Napoleonic, and modern elements.
I'd think that the more traditional route for the President of the CoM's banner would be to inescutcheon the officeholder's personal arms on the arms of Europe in the main Council flag, but the design you went with is rather intriguing as well.

Well, Napoleonic heraldry had a thing for cantons. Also, inescutcheons would imply a sort of sovereignty, which it isn't -- the office of President of the Council of Monarchs is purely ceremonial and administrative, especially considering the council does rarely convene.

What do you propose for arms? The obvious design: azure twelve mullets in orle or--is too simple to be impressive.
I propose:
Quarterly per saltire azure and or, twelve mullets in orle counterchanged.
The quarterings represent the European countries of the North, the East, the South and the West over which the Union has jurisdiction.

Well, I'm all for Azure twelve Mullets circlewise Or. It's simple, it's striking, it's perfect. I did it once, and I think it came out rather well, though there are a lot of things about the rest of the achievement which I'd do differently now. [link]

No, because he is de facto the sole representative of the Central Hemicycle and thus the head of state of the EU. So, rather like quartering territorial arms.
