Despite little nuances I still don't like, the work I put into this is something I'm proud of. It took gobs of free time and headaches to get my details and overall feel where I wanted it.
If you look, I even took the time to detail the feathers on the wings.
That killed me.Anyways, took long enough. This is the next piece I've tried in the new fur style (kudos to sugarpoultry ).

I like this one because of the mystical flair this one shows. It's much less bland than so much stuff I see on here, particularly from the featured works.

It's brilliant but there are a few things that I'll comment about. The right eerr -looks at feet then at picture- er yeah the right foot seems to be positioned awkwardly (unless her legs are a spread a little?). If I visualize correctly (which might not be happening right now) I believe you wouldn't be able to see the whole thing. The lighting effect is awesome but some of the rays should not show through your character. Unless it is actually above the character. Also I think the lighting effect was overdone. It is awesome truly but added with the green light it just seems crowded. Also I think the green on her feet would be a bit dimmer because the light behind her is brighter. Sorry I'm trying to visualize it in my head and type down here at the same time. I apologize if my um...um...critique(??) isn't all that accurate.
Idk. I'm not a good artist so I probably shouldn't be saying anything HOWEVER this does deserve a DD because it is unique.
Er if you don't mind me asking what is the creature in the green light? It reminds me of the movie Nine but I know it isn't. Is there some sort of story behind this? Sorry. It's interesting. And I'm interested. Ugh. Okay I'm gunna stop rambling now...
