Finally... for

I wanted to spend so much more time on the background and characters to make things blend together better, but alas, I ran out of time.

This is my war image for Skrekrill, following the prompt: Skrekrill is short on doctors! Kidnap a Twistoult shaman to care for your wounded fellows.
Somehow I have a feeling that this particular gryphon will not be very compliant.

Tremain's shoulders were crunched up, her haunches wiggling with anticipation. Her body and nerves were eager for the trap to succeed, waiting for the gryphon to draw just a little closer.
She turned her gaze to her fellow comrade and drew up a wicked smile, reflecting her partner's own.
The snare was the easy part. Getting the wrapped up gryphon afterward to work on their brethren was the challenge.

She gripped her talons tighter over the vine as the shaman warily inched forward. In a split second everything unfolded. The shaman had barely set foot over the snare when Tremain ripped the vine toward herself. The snare's entanglement was released and swiftly hurled the shaman into the air by his hind feet.

Dom and Tremain secured his flailing forelimbs in the split second they had the shaman by surprise. The beak was another matter as it snapped wildly. With force, one grabbed the snared gryphon's neck and the other hurriedly slipped more vegetation over the shaman's beak.
The two Skrekrill gryphons stood back, proud of their snag.
They had one more body to work for their front.
