One problem you have is contrasting light sources. This makes it very difficult to create the illusion of a real scene. My suggestion would be to take your own photographs to have to best control of the lighting issues you have with using stock images.

I was trying to do something different, without scaring myself I hasten to add. The last time I did a scary one I had to delete it all 'cos I was scaring myself silly I'm really quite happy with this one though

Oh wow, this is extraordinary. I love it. There's so much to look at. I like how the television has no picture but a static screen. The knives are very pointy, shiny and scary The man's expression is psychotic, LOL. I really enjoyed this. Very cool
