Blue is one of my fave characters, I enjoy doing little things of him, like this plushie; I'm trying to cut back on drawing full images of him though as I feel like I may be getting stuck in a rut.

As long as you're creating art, there IS NO rut.
As long as you love your work, it can only be GOOD.
Remember this, m'dear. If anything, it provides you with pics of something you enjoy, and inspiration to draw and color and create. I would never suggest stopping. Keep going. If you find Blue is your only subject of art, then imagine the storyline that allows Blue to 'live', and draw according to his environment.
