Description
Large image, full view at your own risk. What can I say about this piece? Hmm well...
First and foremost let me just say that henna is hard to draw on the body, oh sure on paper the concept is easy, but applying it to different curves and contours is another thing. Big up to the henna/tattoo artist. Luckily I was able to find a nice site with a few pointers for henna beginners, which is quite obvious that I am.
The whole of the image was inspired by the beautiful jewelry art of the Hindu goddess Parvati.
I think that's all for now, the image is pretty self-explanatory.
For my Valentine.
For everyone else, happy Valentine's Day. Go out and get ya some.

Thank you! Looking at it now I'm rather happy with the henna. Up close it just looked like a big mess, which I spent a lot of time doing, but backing away it comes together better.

You really think this would make a nice poster? Hmm, well I don't think the original is big enough to be made into a poster, but the next time I'll consider it when I do up the line art.

I totally think it would make a great poster. Your line art is so clean and pretty... and colorful. I still can't pull that off.
