Description
While dinosaurs occupy the land of the latest Cretaceous Period, a boisterous young male Fresnosaurus drescheri gently bumps a large Archaeomanta sp. in the shallow seas of what will one day be the relatively flat but extremely productive lands of California's Central Valley.-------------
Originally I had plans to include a [simplistic] background but it was already midnight so no, that did not happen. Neither of these creatures have appeared on DA prior to this piece, so that's cool though!

I really like the Archaeomanta, it looks like a cross between a megamouth shark and a manta ray!

We don't know too much about it other than it had similar teeth to modern Mantas, so I took some liberties and made it a cownose ray/eagle ray and manta hybrid.
