Water/???

I knew what I wanted out of the head from the first time I imagined this guy, but the thing I could never figure out was the body (that is until now). I've tossed in the characteristics of the upside down fish, a Mimic (fake treasure chest), and a sharks build with a crabs body. I think that the combination of all of those things makes this guy as bizarre a Mimics usually are, which is exactly what I was shooting for!

And I thought mimics were already scary enough...

This is an extra helping of awesome . Please tell me it and its pre evolution learn Pay Day. And I dont mean to get up in your business but I dont think the green was the best choice of color for the body. I think a grey or a grey-blue would go better. However its your choice and its awesome either way. And again.. dont mean to pressure you or anything but for the Dex you could say it has a habit of resting on the seabed.. a behavior not uncommon in many sharks.. and because of this its mistaken as treasure by unsuspecting divers. Or maybe you were already going in that direction in which case sorry for the time wasting comment . And personally I think pure water would be just fine for this guy. Steel and Dark would also work okay though.

Haha I appreciate it! Yeah, I intended the use of Pay Day for these guys, I honestly think that's the only thing that makes Meowth remotely cool lol. Honestly I just liked the way the Faded green looked on him, but I was already thinking of switching it to a grey blue as you suggested to have something that connects both Gilcrab and Finmimic together. Yes, I was definitely going in that direction with the whole "shark in disguise", to carry on that whole idea of the Mimic. And in terms of the type, well I knew I wanted Gilcrab to be a water type, but Finmimic being a Mimic and all (and since Mimics are just monsters disguised as treasure) I figured it might be interesting if I changed its type completely, to something (as you suggested) like a steel/dark type. Thanks again!
