Description Something I ended up drawing when I meant to be sketching ideas for watercolour paintings. I didn't intend to get a finished drawing out of this!

Also, apparently it's awkward trying to draw on paper after only really drawing digitally for ages...! There are certain mistakes in this that I might not have made had I been drawing digitally... o_O

Drawn entirely in mechanical pencil. I am also wondering if I should take this out of my sketchbook and keep it in a safe place where it might not smudge as much. I worry about removing any sort of perforated paper thing though since I might *rip* things by accident!

Edit: I got it out of my sketchbook safely and it's now sitting in a sheet protector!

Beautiful work! And the sepia tone looks great!

You definitely want to store it in a safe, non-smudge-risk place. o.o! The razor idea is a good one. : D

This drawing is awesome! I love the detail! Did you tint it to be brown or did it just scan that way..?

Thank you! I tinted it to brown in Photoshop since the lighter pencil bits (like the space between the sunrays and stuff) seemed to show up better with a slightly darker background than with white and I liked the sepia look more than the white/grey look.

*hugs the dragon*

You could always use a razor blade to cut along the perforation without ripping anything. Just be careful that you don't cut too deep.
