Completely random art for *mechanicalkat , apparently! This is her character, Sypher, who is like... a combination of everything I've been wanting to draw lately. Mammal, orange, tigerish, long ears, hair...! o_OSo this happened.
I spent ages just doing the lines and liked how they turned out so much that I almost didn't want to colour them just because that would distract from them! So I totally uploaded the lines as a separate image here anyway. And I drew him in this pose and was like, 'what is he standing on?'
So then I thought, '...rocks! Genius!'
And then I had no idea what to do with the background since I didn't really plan on drawing one, so random swirls of colour and texture abuse!

Ahhhh, this turned out SO pretty! ;333; I LOVE the lineart; his little fluffy parts look really soft, and the wings! The wings are badass! XD *loves their anatomy..but then the whole picture's anatomy looks awesome* such a pretty face too, ahhh ;333;!!
I like the background (and the rocks) a lot too.

OH OH OH and also, totally unrelated, you were right about photoshop! 8U I couldn't work with the laggy layers anymore so I played with all my settings, so now the Windows 7 effects all turn off when photoshop is open and it runs sooooo much better. >__>~

I should totally make Windows Vista effects all turn off when I open Photoshop too, since I haven't actually done that! I'm so used to layers dragging around all slowly, I forget that the program is actually meant to run better than that. XD

It's weird having the start bar and everything turn solid gray whole photoshop is open, but the speed is awesome.
