She is a quite girl, no one really notices her. She is stunningly beautiful, but no one sees her. It’s like she has what he wants, invisibility. Everyone saw him, even when he didn’t want them to. He was quite to, but still everyone saw him.
His fingers slipped through each other and held their place in front of his emotionless mouth. As the girls giggled and ogled at his unconscious perfection, he stared at the only girl who didn’t notice him. Her short hair covered her face from his view but only thanks to the only two long pieces of hair on either side of it.
No one noticed that the only time she was confident was when it seemed like no one was watching, and she was working silently. Briefly her eyes flicked up to the bored, she leaned foreword to comprehend it fully, not noticing the young boy still staring at her, every movement she made, every little thing she did when she thought no one was watching.
The white haired teacher walked into the room, staring down at his pornographic book he carried everywhere, “morning class,” he said waving in the general direction of the class without moving his one visible eye from his book. The girl who held the source of his fascination instantly became timid once again when people began to take their seats around her she carefully put her bag away once again.
“You will be put into pairs today, seeing as we always have trouble with you guys choosing your own pairs,” his eyes stuck to the dark haired boy who merely glared back before continuing, “I will pair you up,” girls and boys groaned around the classroom only four remained stoic, the invisible girl, and the boy who so desired her invisibility and of course Shino and Shikamaru.
“Sakura, Naruto,” the blonde boy smiled and the pink haired girl groaned. He couldn’t help but notice the girl he was watching look over to the blonde with a look of disappointment flickering across her pale features.
“Shino, Ino” Ino groaned and Shino was as always stoic behind his sunglasses.
“Kiba, Choji” Kiba was petting his pet and Choji just kept eating his potato chips as always.
“Sasuke,” the raven haired boy looked away from the quite girl and looked to the teacher expectantly, “Hinata,” finally the blue haired girl slowly turned her attention to Sasuke who was still watching her. Not until her pale lavender eyes were on his did he look away. Looking out the window Sasuke prayed to the gods that no one could see he his face, slightly lined with pink.
“You will be study partners,” Kakashi continued in a bored voice, his face never leaving his book, “so help each other with what you don’t know about the Justus’s I’ve taught you for your exam, then spar together,” everyone remained seated and silent, Sasuke finally turning from the window when he was confident his face had returned to its normal coloring.
A minute passed in silence until Kakashi finally raised his eyes from his book, “go outside or wherever just leave me alone,” he said in a monotone voice. Everyone looked at each other for a moment before the students began to pair off and walk out. Kakashi left for the teachers lounge while the students talked and went off to spar. Before either of them knew it, Sasuke and Hinata were the only two left in the classroom, and neither of them had left their seat.
After a moment Hinata stood up and walked over to Sasuke timidly. He stared blankly in front of him, his mind ticking over on how to talk to her, what to say, how to act. But his mind was blank and he was beginning to panic, which was not his forte. “U-Uchiha-san?” she asked quietly. His mouth was as dry as the Suna deserts and all he could do was turn and look at her, the only part of his face conveying his fear, panic, any form of emotion was his eyes, which she was carefully avoiding.
Her two index fingers began to tap together repeatedly before she continued, “I-I’m sorry, I’m not sure I-if you heard, K-Kakashi-sama s-said that, umm, you were, I mean I am,” she paused for a minute looking out the window, conveniently were Naruto and Sakura were under a tree with a pile of books, Naruto flirting like a madman and Sakura ignoring him whilst looking for Sasuke.
All of a sudden she forgot what she was saying and just began to watch Naruto, and imagine herself in Sakura’s position. She was 16 now, Naruto still barely recognized her, he still flirted with Sakura, and she was barely stronger. True she was studying for the jonnin exams with the rest of her graduating gennin class, but she still felt like the weakest. Sasuke on the other hand was beyond annoyed.
He was almost 17 and top of the class, easily going to pass and become a jonnin, but that’s not what annoyed him. He turned slightly to see why his beautiful study partner was staring out the window to see that idiot Naruto flirting with Sakura acting like a moron, and effectively catching the eye of Hinata in Sakura’s place.
Suddenly Sasuke stood up in front of Hinata’s view of the blonde boy, “I herd him Hinata-chan, how about we go study somewhere other than the classroom?” he asked desperate to break her line of view from Naruto.
She nodded and turned around, “ok Uchiha-san,” she said formally, waiting for him to lead the way. The raven-haired boy smiled at the quite girl and her formalities.
He wanted nothing more than to wrap his arm around her waist and hold her close, whispering sweet nothings into her ear, but then realized how stupidly pathetic that was and how badly she would reject him if he did that. He sighed, “Please Hinata-chan, call me Sasuke,”
With a shocked look she looked up at him, square in the eyes, her lavender ones seemed so intoxicating, “um, ok, Sasuke-kun”
He smirked and walked out of the classroom, the Hyuuga trailing behind him.

After two years that day changed a lot for two teams in particular, team seven and eight. Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, Kiba and Shino.
Naruto was still devoted to Sakura, but now from a distance, he had Hinata to worry about. Naruto had been dating Hinata for 2 months now, but Naruto still loved Sakura secretly. Sasuke’s affections hadn’t changed either; his admiration towards Hinata was just as he started off if not stronger, which annoyed the hell out of him and Sakura just wouldn’t leave Sasuke alone.
The six ninja’s began to work together more and more as a Jonnin team till they were created as a single squad. Together they were a lethal combination Sasuke was team leader and a great one at that.
“Shino, stay on defense,” Sasuke yelled at the bug master with a small nod another horde of bugs attacked the missing nin’s attacking them, “crap,” Sasuke muttered as he threw shuriken at the oncoming ninja’s and Kiba was wounded and fell from his tree, “Sakura, help Kiba!” now only Naruto, Hinata and Sasuke stood side by side with Shino behind them on a high branch.
The three of them leaped towards the enemy, four against three. The three Konoha ninjas went to the ground, Naruto and Sasuke punching and slashing into their opponent’s one on one, Hinata blocking against her two.
Shino tried to fight off Hinata’s spare opponent who was using speed against the squad. Shino’s destroyer bugs killed off the first on. Suddenly he turned to see a branch nock him off his own and send him to the ground with his comrades. He caught his balance quickly and slid to the forest ground. He looked up to see the tree that knocked him down shooting towards him. Evading the branch he jumped to the side and slashed it with a kunai and sent destroyer bugs into it. Poison swelled from the cut and killed the bugs before shooting into the ground the into Shino’s leg. As soon as his blood hit the branch it exploded into his leg. With a cry Sakura ran to him, leaving Kiba healed in a hollow tree trunk. Sakura grabbed Shino and carried him to her hiding hole to safety. Once he was placed down safely she was grabbed by the shirt and thrown by a branch into combat with the earth user.
Naruto was devoted in his opponent to really notice anyone around him like a good ninja. 5 of his shadow clones fought 5 of his missing nin’s earth clones. Random Justus were flying everywhere and the clones were fighting each other at full force. Sasuke was fighting off his opponent both focusing on speed and strengths against each other, Sasuke’s bloodline limit his sharingan turned his eyes crimson and his opponents bloodline limit blazed yellow in his eyes too, as they fought they only occasionally throwing in Justus’s.
“Ahh!” Sakura screamed as she was thrown to a tree and impaled in the shoulder by a branch before the branch exploded in her. She fought on her healing Justus’s with her one good arm and super strength blazing on. After many gashes in quick recession she collapsed to the dirt, “Sakura!” Naruto screamed and ran backwards from his fight to her.
Almost as soon as he reached Sakura he bent over her and picked her up in his arms and all of his shadow clones popped out of existence. He felt a pulse and began a healing jutsu, “Naruto, she’ll be fine, you have to fight!” Sasuke screamed at his blonde companion. His eyes went wide as his enemy’s attacks increased in force, “shit!” he cursed as he fought them back.
Another female scream echoed in the darkening forest, “Hinata,” Sasuke whispered and spun around to see Hinata fall unconscious from a hit to the head. One of the ninja’s grabbed her around the waist and sprinted off. His opponent took his newest distraction and threw a kunai at Sasuke’s head. His sharingan reacted just in time and he moved to receive only a cut on the cheek.
