Actually, it doesn't--that was a clumsy misjudgment in her height on my part; I made her torso too short. If it were colored that'd be her blue pants, but it's black and white.

Tell you the truth I'd cry if Lulz made it into the dictionary. I think it has to do with all those damned ED users.
Correct me if I'm wrong please. I'm sure there are other hubs in the internet where that word came from. Along with some other words I see occassionally. >.<

Things I hate:
-the word "lulz"
-the Encyclopedia Dramatica
-trolls
-people who use l33tspeak
-people who misspell l33tspeak.
So I'm not really sure....I just know I want them dead. *^_~*

Lately i've been trying to stop using the word "lol" i'd rather write "hahaha" or something. People nowadaysuse lol at the end of every sentence so really, it's kinda pointless now.
Ia gree with you in this o.o.. I stopped liking lol, lulz is even worse...

I fail to understand it and I refuse to answer or read messages written in l33tspeak anymore. If they can't be bothered to write proper english, then it's not worth my time.

Lulz has its place in the world.
I personally am fond of it, mostly because I'm a total bitch.
But it has its place on the internetz, and it has connotations appropriate that another word would not be able to convey. Thus, making it important when I am attempting to communicate. I figure that it's better that your meaning is understood with a fake word than be misinterpretted with a real one. And yes, the word is mostly spiteful, but I find that because of its shallowness as a word, anyone getting really bothered by it needs to turn off their computers.
Though I wouldn't use it in scrabble.
I think all language, no matter how deplorable, vile, or disgusting is important. Words are for communicating, and to dislike a word for delivering its meaning is silly. That's the word's job. Dislike the people too, but I would generally take a closer look at the troll's criticism. A lot of the time, it's factless; but the other half is the highlighting of what does need to be changed. That's what satire is about. Not necessarily funny or kind, but it is criticism at a certain aspect of society.
Woo! Sorry long comment. Excuse any grammatical errors, it's 12:30 here.

You are trying to eat grass that is not there. The meaning of this piece is simple. I do not like the word, as I find it a messenger of unproductive unkindness. Scorpions also have their place in the world, but as Fox sinks with Scorpion on his back and gasps "Why?" Scorpion replies, "It is what I am." That does not make sweet the sting.
Murder is about communication as well. Murder is the last worst thing you can do to a human being, a last-ditch, excessive-force method of getting your message across to someone. It's still a deplorable action.
I am of the mind that criticism can be delivered politely and courteously without the clumsy, heavy-handed use of unkind words. Confusing meanness and spite with satire is unfair to satire--the latter is meant to be classy and subtle; trolling and bullying are anything but.
You want to be fond of it? Go right ahead. I am not. It is why I drew the piece, which rests here, in my gallery.

Whatever it means, I don't think it's very nice when people get their laughs or lulz or whatever at other people's expense. Surely they could find some other way to amuse themselves.

I haven't the foggiest. The only time I've ever seen it used is when trolls attack someone's page and say nasty things, then, when they are confronted about their overt, impolite antagonism, respond "I was only doing it for the lulz" as if it's some kind of excuse for their bad behavior. Things like that make Star mad.

Star no like the word "lulz".
I've only ever seen it used by trolls. I see people going out of their way to be mean to other people, troll their pages, say nasty things, and then, when confronted on their total lack of manners, protest "I was only doing it for the lulz," as if it's some sort of excuse. I don't know what it really means--if it even has a meaning.
Bad manners and unneccesary meanness make Star go grr.
