I wouldn't change a thing about this.
You mentioned that you were dissatisfied with the background. I actually like that it doesn't compete with the girl for attention. The gears give the background a bit of a futuristic feel in contrast with the girl's elegant outfit and the flowers in the foreground.
Overall a lovely picture.

One thing that always strikes me about your drawings is how intricate they are, as well as the striking balance between heavy, bold, black ink linework and delicate details and shading. You are really developing a style that is uniquely your own, and that can be attributed to your prolific output. You are an inspiration to the lazier folks amongst us (ahem.)
This is a beautiful example of your oeuvre. I love the slightly coy, slightly confident tilt of her head and body, and the sideways, coquettish glance. This is a figure with great character, from her expression to her clothing. The gothic lolita style is very well depicted. The name "Sapphiria" is also fitting for the look and feel of this character.
The proportions look generally good, and anatomically speaking you are developing in leaps and bounds. I think the spacing of her eyes could perhaps have been more carefully considered. Also--maybe it's just the way you've drawn the central line of her corset but the twist of her torso and angle of her hips seems impossible compared to the line of her shoulders. Sketching from life may help you create more natural poses.
Overall, a really solid and well-executed piece from you. You are excellent with creating and depicting memorable OCs. Great work as always, Kartika!
