That is unfortunate. It is my favourite time of year. Think it would be yours too with your enjoyment of dressing in costume.

We do that here, too and on other occcassions as well. We make excuses to dress in costumes every opportunity we get. I mean the whole population. Conventions (love these), special occassions, holidays, parties, going to a movie opening, Renn Faires (one of my favourites), Pirate Festivals (my favourite), if you can think of a reason you can dress in a costume for it.
