Also, I love your icon! David Bowie/Jareth FTW! I actually just picked up the new Return to Labyrinth manga this past weekend.

Horns? Antenna? WTF are they THINKING??? An elf just isn't an elf unless he or she has some nice big elf ears. Now THATS and elf. None of that teeny-tiny points nonsesnse. I mean, if you don't have big pointy ears, you might as well be human Big ears

XD Why thankyou! Seems as though I run into a Jareth fan wherever I go, lol. I got the Return to the Labyrinth manga a while ago. I didn't like it that much, though. The scene where he's in a suit made me go ewwwww!!!! lol.

I don't know, I kinda liked the suit. It was ....different. I liked that they still had the eye makeup on him even when he was dressed normally though. As far as I'm concerned any extra Jareth in addition to the original movie Jareth is good Jareth. And Kouyu Shurei did a beautiful cover for it too. I'm just hoping for, and looking forward to, Sarah's return! Or maybe Jareth will go find her! OH, I can't wait!

Weeeell....ok, I'll admit that it was different, and that i did like the fact that the eyemakeup stayed. But...the little glasses? *shivvers* Yikes! I do adore the cover art though, but i wish they made toby look more like the drawing on the cover.
i went to Tokyo pop's website yesterday and, yes, Jarah and sarah will be getting together. That makes me quite happy.

Well the problem of consistancy between the cover art and the actual illustrations is that they are by two different artists. I don't know how into manga you are, but if you like the cover art, you can check out Kouyu Shurei's own title, Alichino. It's got loads of pretty boys... and the plot's pretty good to I guess

And yeah, the glasses were a bit unnecessary, but maybe he was working on the Superman principle, in which glasses make you vitrually unrecognizable to anyone who has never actually seen you put them on/remove them. It's a theory...
