Time for another update, and this week it's Kip from DK Barrel Blast/Jet Race! This Wii title features a roster of Kremlings and Kongs with matching stats. I believe Kip here is supposed to be a rival for Diddy Kong.If I was going to write Kip's story, it would be something like this: Kip is a young reptile with dreams of adventure. He wants to sail the world with the Kremling Krew so badly that he stows away aboard K.Rool's Galleon. His older sister, Kass, and their friend, Krunch, try to bring him back home, but the group gets stuck on the ship as it launches for Kong Island. Naturally, Kip wants to explore the place, which crosses the kids' paths with that of the Kongs'. How will Kip react in the face of danger? Are these apes really the enemy, or has K.Rool been lying to the Kremlings the whole time?
Kip's father fought in the first assault on the Island and left him a wooden sword, as well as an old compass which is Kip's prized possession.
The series updates on Thursday until all Kremlings are illustrated!

I always liked the Kremlings. It struck me that since alligators and many species of crocodiles are fairly social and easy-going (at least when they have plenty of food and aren't protecting their young), and often display playful behavior on their own, with objects, each other, and even humans they trust, that many Kremlings would prefer to be more easy-going, laid-back, and fun-loving if they werent being constantly press-ganged by K.Rool to run around swiping bannannas all the time! They had even built a huge amusement-park for themselves at one time! I could picture a point when a (possibly large) group of Kremlings finally gets fed up with K.Rool bossing them around and sending them out to steal bannannas and getting stomped on by gorillas all the time that decide to try to overthrow K.Rool, possibly making a truce with the Kongs to do so, so that they can all finally relax and enjoy life for a change!

I like your take on his story! Kind of make him sympathetic.
Though would the Kongs be able to reason him? ESPECIALLY in the middle of a boss fight?

Great energy and colors! I like how your story makes him a potentially sympathetic character. And the Kremlings that care for him, too! To be honest, though, I wouldn't put it past K. Rool to use child soldiers!!! Nice job!

Thank you! Making every Kremling an enemy doesn't work very well
outside of the games. Some of them, like Kip, don't strike me as
evil after I really examine them.
Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if K.Rool used these kids as soldiers
or had them befriend the Kongs only to betray them later.

True! There were surely some Krelmlings that didn't want to get involved with K. Rool's warring but probably had no choice. That makes their island blowing up in DKC2 all the more unsettling...
