Emmm, Astra the human and Musimon the appmon are characters from the anime show AppliMonsters, or Appmon. It's the latest anime series of the Digimon franchise (still airing, and hitting some very important twist in the plot for the time being...)

*Ahhhhhh, Episode 37... Sob, sob... Really can't accept that, just can't... Grabbing some more tissue... Sob, sob...*

Okay, back to the topic. Torajirou Asuka, often known as Astra, is the youngest AppliDriver in the series. He is the only pre-teen among the five AppliDrivers, and acts like child often enough. But that doesn't mean he is a flat, comical character just because he jests a lot and cheers a lot and does a lot of funny things. Torajirou is actually born to a family with a long history and a time-honoured tradition of practicing Sado (Japanese tea ceremony). While his parents are quite liberal about his future, Torajirou still feels obliged to take up the family tradition as his career, and that sense of duty weighs a lot in his mind.

His first meeting with Musimon introduced Torajirou to a world where he can listen to the calls of his heart. There he can do what he desires rather than what he deems proper. And Torajirou LIKES it. That's basically how Torajirou bonds with Musimon. After that he starts an Apptube (Appmon universe equivalent of Youtube) account as Astra. Astra gives himself a challenge everyday, and uploads a video about his attempt to fulfill that, and his feelings about it. Because "Feels good? feels bad? Feels SUPER GOOD!" is now his new motto. His popularity soars, and becoming a top-ranking Apptuber soon becomes Astra's new aspiration. Astra and Musimon had their disagreement once (Episode 8), but reconciled when Astra realized he did this Apptubing thing not just to collect views and kudos, but to follow his heart's wish.

Now we get to see the Astra who dresses fashionably, speaks straightforwardly and acts boldly. Sometimes, maybe more often than sometimes, he remarks before he thinks, haha. Beside him is his appmon partner Musimon. Famous for his raps and his "No Musimon, no life" motto, Musimon is of a frank and carefree personality. And he encourages Astra to become likewise. Now these two always cheer and remark and enjoy (or despise) everything in their life as though they were one person.

Of course, Torajirou isn't giving up his family tradition. Episode 20 explores Astra's resolution to find a balance between Sado and Apptubing, his family and Musimon, the "should" and the "want".
