Description
Though Gearslip's spark pulsed to life astroseconds before the twin sparks of Skids and Mudflap, he has always been something of a big brother to them. The trio would prove themselves valuable scroungers and saboteurs during the late days of the war, but during an attack on a Decepticon supply depot Gearslip lost track of the Twins and had to return to base without them. Years later Gearslip arrived on Earth, finding Skids and Mudflap alive and well with shiny new Earth disguises. Scanning a vehicle of his own, he rejoined his old "family" and set to pick up where the three of them left off; Delivering the pain to those Decepticon punks, one drone at a time.

While a "Third Twin", transforming into a Smart Car was indeed planned at some point [link] , I chose to follow the theme set by Skids and Mudflap's respective Chevy Beat and Trax modes and use the third Chevy subcompact concept, the Groove [link] .
