I have been practicing digital fora while, and trying to learn cleaner coloring and drawing tips. This is one of a few that i am going to practice now. But i suppose my main issue is coming up with a good small sketch to start with and expand from there. OH but I do love especially the tip your gave for the color outline?, i am going to try it soon. In either case, thank you very much for this, your art is very clean and colorful. and i hope you are doing well!

Yeah, sketches can be tough, but a lot of fun. The best advice I can give is to try doing quick sketches from life, and focus on getting the movement in the form. It helps a lot, and you'll get a lot of pose ideas and such. C: And don't worry about your sketches being messy, you can always clean them up a bit before or when you do the lines. (Also, if you're more comfortable sketching with a pencil, you can always do that and scan it in, and do the rest digitally. I often do this C: )
I'm glad this helped you, thank you very much for your kind words! And best of luck! <333

Thank you very much for advice and reply, and i am definitely taking your advice to heart and practicing. Its kind of a push since i am terribly persnickety when it comes to details of the drawing and have a habit of trying to do those before having something concrete. Mhm, i certainly understand and enjoy the sketching traditionally then scanning when i can.(always feels go to actually feel your work) =v= ) but definitely going to try the studying of life, with natural poses and stuff, and trying to be a bit more lax. Just have to really stick to it. > ~ >;
Again thank you for your time and your reply, and hope you are doing well, and also the best of luck to you as well.
-also in turn sorry for my late reply,i am hoarding your original reply in my inbox for quicker/better referencing ;v;-

did you use any tools for making the lineart? like..a curve tool or something or did you do everything manually by hands? cause your curve is soo smooth * A*

Aw, thank you! ;////; /flails
All the lines were done by hand, yup ~ <3
(Smooth lines are just one of those things that come with practice C: )

It seems to me that you've got a great understanding of colour, and that's your secret, not the brushes.

Ah, thank you! ;v;
And yes, it's true! Brushes aren't what make a good artist, it's how you use them, and how well you understand stuff like compostition / colour / etc. ovo b

Thanks! <3
Aaah, they should be pretty easy to make!
The main brush I use has only it's opacity affected by pen pressure C:

I love seeing people's process. I think yours might be one of the most useful about how to get subtle effects.
Do you use any smoothing/airbrush/etc settings on your lineart brush?

Yay, I'm glad! I love seeing people's process as well ;v;
Aw, thanks IF! hugs <3
Nope! I use that same brush I pointed out near the beginning of the
tutorial, with it's standard settings. The only "editing" I do
on the line art is adding some colour to it, and the slight gaussian blur C:
