Description
Z-001, also known as "Zoe," was a Tech-Priestess conscripted against her will into the Inquisition as an insult to her former commander, who valued her very highly. It was interesting playing a character who simultaneously had a lot to prove, but also a very good reason to not want to put in a hundred percent on the job. She ended up being retired when the campaign ended and she was brought back to her original post. Made for a nice resolution.Related content

She's not actually one of the Skitarii, technically speaking! She was born on a starship, an ancient reliquary of Mars, and has been in service to a Rogue Trader her whole life. The whole reason she was chosen for the Inquisition is because said Rogue Trader had pissed off someone in the Inquisition, and they wanted to make him angry by taking away his son's best friend, which is what Z-001 was. She was deeply angry about being torn from both her friend and her holy birthplace, which was why she hated her place in the Inquisition. I thought it would be interesting to have a more humanistic motivation then you typically see out of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
