Description
Designed and made by Rothana Heavy Engineering, the Acclamator Class Assault Ship was a 752 metre long heavy cruiser and troop transport for the Grand Army of the Republic. She would serve through the entirety of the Clone Wars, before then seeing continued usage by the Galactic Empire, although to a much lesser degree.
The Acclamator was one of the few ships ever designed that could actually land on a planet, standing at 200 metres tall when landed. She also carried an armament able to defend itself, but not enough to stand up as a proper cruiser to cruiser warship. The design would see its first use at the First Battle of Geonosis, and during many later key invasions and battles.
