The ship was armed with an Axial super laser, much the like the first Eclipse, which, although not on par with the Death Stars, was able to penetrate the crust of a planet and inflict extreme amounts of damage to the surface, leaving it as a massive molten lake of lava on the surface. Anikan would be displeased.
