Sold as a slave at a young age, he’s been assigned as a researcher for new alchemical fields that have not been discovered.

Personality

Cecessel at his core is a recluse; years of being a prisoner, almost no contact and punishment for not meeting expectations has left him mentally unstable. Despite that, he is a logical thinker and is someone who comes up with multiple possibilities for a situation or a subject at a fast pace.

Abilities:

Outside of magic, Cecessel is ridiculously heavy for his height and combined with his low centre of mass he can’t be knocked over easily. He also has a prehensile tail which acts like a third arm and a set of teeth that’ll cause damage if given the opportunity. Lastly he is able to create alchemical circles lightning fast; ranging from 5-10 seconds for a simple one to 20-30 for a fully complex one

Magic-wise Cecessel houses all known knowledge of Alchemy, which can be split into four categories:

- Copy: The most simple of the symbols however, the most dangerous if the user does not know the cost of the original object.
- Apply Force: The second simple symbol; converts materials into energy. That energy can be fire, motion, electricity etc.
- Create: As the name suggests, it is the ability to create anything. It requires a complex alchemical symbol as you have to precisely tell it what it is you want. It’s possible to let the cost conversion “fill in” gaps using the material given as a guideline but it’s much better to be exact and it has a lower chance to backfire.
- Convert/Repair: Works the same as create however it uses the original object as part of the cost requirement. The same rules apply to this symbol to that of the creation one.

Weaknesses:

- All language in the tournament is foreign to him, he'll have little idea on what's been said unless someone makes the effort to translate.
- Physically weak due to a combination of being malnourished and his only resource for alchemy research is his own blood. (Note: This isn't rectifiable in the short-term; it would take months to return to full strength)
- All known alchemy is drawn on the spot, so unless Cecessel is prepared he is practically defenceless magic-wise.
