Well, that wasn't a HUGE period of inactivity, right?
Well, regardless, have a Shoggoth fakemon named Halasonos! It's huge, weird, and looks like I fused all my creatures together and injected them with black ink!
I tried to stay as best I could within the way Shoggoths are described, but it still strays quite a bit from the original description (of a giant, formless, luminous black mass with glowing eyes and limbs forming and deforming at will, expelling greenish light from pustules scattered on itself). I was worried about that, until I had a revolutionary thought:'Wait, this is MY game, why should I have to stick to the exact description?'
So if that's an issue, just pretend the Shoggoths have evolved some more (like in the original story!) into a new sort of form.
Got a Tsathoggua fakemon and a new not-based-on-anything fakemon (for Citrine Quartz) coming up, so look out for them!

My first critique. Homwewrw(dknfdh), I see your fakemon as an Idea of Ink but it's very very strange of a 'pokemon' as a concept. Try to change the concept from "face" complicated to simple faces as Cofagius, or whatever name, or Darkrai even if are we called enemies as so we see them.
And don't forget the right palettes. Isn't too simple to found the right colours, even if few colours as Pikachu. In this case, the colours of your fake is too many colours, the best way is: black(ink), green(more light) and purple(more dark).
So, you're a monster of strange "fakemon" but try, again, to reduce the strange concepts.
For this concept, maybe an idea of "form" as for Giratina or Cherrim. You're a good artist! Congrats. (:

As much as I love getting a critique, I think you misunderstand. This is technically a fakemon, but it's part of a game I'm calling "Pokemon Lovecraft". It is a "Lovecraftmon", based on the creature known as a Shoggoth, and is complex and many-colored on purpose.
