This one's for my mate Cause he asked if I could do a police version of my AA drone.Wanted to do a better render of it, but the stupid pluginn just didn't want to work...meh. Also thanks to for his cirts and commnets while doing it!
Hope you like.
For those who care to know:
Equipped with two 7.92 machine guns, one automatic 40mm grenade launcher, 22 smoke/tear gas grenade dispensers, water cannon, wash down arrangement, dozer blade, searchlight, foldable wall (made of detachable riot shields). That's about it.

indeed, the world its set in has existing technology for lighter than air battleships, so the same can be applied to land vehicles allowing them to reach huge sizes

What's the scale? Because it seems like people would be able to climb over it, at least at the middle.

Yeah, the gun/water cannon in the middle should prevent that. THe shields (though somewhat too large) give a bit a sense of scale. They are normal riot shields which can be taken away by accompanying riot police.

seing as how the middle is where the gun seems to be mouted i don't they would need to be pretty damn brave or very stupid to approach the middle

that is true, but then i imagine that situations requiring use of this machine would be extrme, that mob may end up very motionless after a sustained burst from multiple units

Well, now that I think about it, riot forces are meant for non-lethal suppression, so it wouldn't make a lot of sense to have machineguns.
If the goal is to kill the protesters, then they might as well send in standard combat drones.

THee is also an water cannon mounted in the middle (though with not to much water...) and the machine guns could be loaded with rubber bullets. So lethal force can be an option but only if things get outta hand.
And then I went for a somewnat darker future.

Maybe if you were to have it where the Shields fold into each other and then fold downward, making room for the grenade launchers. sorta like Retractable shields.

Yeah, the shields ae retractable. Fisrt they fold inwards, then they rotate downwards, so to make space when on the move or no accompanying men are there. But thanks!
