Hope you like.
For those who care to know:
Equipped with two 7.92 machine guns, one automatic 40mm grenade launcher, 22 smoke/tear gas grenade dispensers, water cannon, wash down arrangement, dozer blade, searchlight, foldable wall (made of detachable riot shields). That's about it.

It's an interesting design but what if a protester somehow gets on top of it?
And how many units there needs to be for them to be effective against a crowd of protesters?

The machineguns should avoid that situation, but if it happens it normally is accompanied by riot police officers, which could help out with a taser or something. And if that doesn't help, then hell shit just happened.

Yes I would like to place 20 orders of these and can the machine gun be switched out with rubber bullets

Not nagging you,but wouldn't the GLS(if that's correct) serve better if it were to the front of the vehicle or at least past the shields?

No, you are totally right, this doesn't make sense. Thanks!

Great design man! I love the riot shields. It's a shame that a lot of the details are hard to read due to the rendering. You should try to render your models in more realistic lighting situations, with hdr or even just a 3 point setup. They definitely deserve a better presentation. keep it up!

Thanks lot much apprecited! Yeah somehow my render program did't wanna take the file, well here is a better render, still needs alot lot of refinement but it's a start... [link]

amazing details, the touches of yellow are spot on for good looks.
Would really like to see a nicer render

Thanks! that'd be nice, but why so ever, the rendering program doesn't want to do this file...no idea why...

Thanks a lot for the kind offer, though I am giving alast try first and then I'll maybe come back to you, depending on the outcome.

Interesting render. I'd add a solid shield, or a series of segmented shields with view ports on the front. The regular mine clearing dozer blades seem insufficienat.

You think so? I hhink additional shields would obstruct the view and arc of fire of the turret too much.

I think it came out pretty awesome, Thomas! Looks really great. Love the wheel guards.
I see 's point about smoke dispensers shooting into the shields. Totally missed that until he mentioned it. You could move them to the back wheels? But then the ploughs don't merge w/ the shields as well, and makes sense to have riot control dudes on the sides of the machine rather than in back. Probably easier to move the dispensers, or angle them differently.
Besides that tricky little detail... it's very cool as it is. I'm telling you, IMO these technical designs of yours often surpass those seen in top games and film.

Sweet! Glad you like it!
Definetly need to change the smoke dispensers! Changing the angle is the simplest solution, so I'll do that one. Putting the shields to the back wheels, doesn't sound to bad, cause this would give the turret a way better firing arc, when the shields are expanded, but I think it would look kinda akward, and the ploughs/shield thing wouldn't work out so I'll stick to that one. But thanks for the once again helpful comments!

great textures (and design as usual)
but wouldnt you want to armor the wheels more, because thatd be the attack point of the crowd. the wheels seem rather easy targets from the side..
cheers mate

Yeah, I thought of shielding them, but then I wanted them to visible. So I went for the look side and not the function one...
Oh and thanks!

Fantastiche as always but... um... I always find your approach to law enforcement a little on the extreme side: "Equipped with two 7.92 machine guns, one automatic 40mm grenade launcher" ... hmmm... But if this [link] is the protester, then perhaps it's not ENOUGH firepower!

you back?! Well, I'm going for the dark darkdarkdaaaaark side of the future. And they could shoot rubber bullets and tear gas grenades! At least they could. And yes the protesters are defintely better equipped. Will have to do a new one...
Oh and many thanks as always.

Hmmm. Was really easy (or I was just lucky, cause often its just that...). I took a metal texture and live traced it in black and white, while 'ignoring white' and changed the threshold and other settings till I was happy with the intensity of scratches and then put the scratches over the different base colors, where i either chnaged the color of the scratchesor made them slighlty transparent. I just used two differnet metal textures which I scaled differently for differnt forms/amount of scratches.
Maybe it helps...
