Description
some more renders...getting used to kerkythea bit more.modeled in Sketchup, rendered in kerkythea.
Only the upper right seems to be done (maybe the ice needs to be retouched a bit), upper left took too long to render with all the gras, so no more of it and the lower ones only need an environment. SO still much to be done.
models done for Operation Dragonslayer [link]

Might be preaching old news- but if you're still using Kerkythea to render this stuff and it's still dark- open up the big image and play with the four sliders there- they can make a world of difference! I'm speaking from experience here! Hope it helps

Been rendering lately with Vray, but I am still thinking of swapping back to Kerkythea, as I like some features better (or I probably know it better). Did'nt know that, so thanks for the help! Also happy about tips! thanks!

great work... agree that top right seems complete... could be improved further by using the soft shadows setting maybe?

These all look truly fantastic, Tom! Kerkythia seems like a great tool. So cool to see you taking the modeling skills to a whole new level!
Render may have taken a while on Jagdtiger Octo, but I think it was worth it!
Could you send me that one by itself in Hirez?

Yes the Octo took a whole day to render. It would be less with worse rendering settings but I blame myself for not adding some details. maybe do that one again, cause I love the grass. BUt I realized winter settings have their own advantage. No grass! Will try the support walker in a city setting.

I TOO like bottom left most
And looks quite realistic inside.
Really nice one
PS: Upper right 10leg is pretty nice too, it's line somehow reminds me of some Lotus car (Esprite from '90s or sth?)

needs background, and the twigs should get a bit smaller in comparsion to the leaves.

Looking really good in the top right there . Top left is coming along nicely too. I like what you've done with the front wheels of the truck - that's very creative. But yeah, the top right looks like it would make a good desktop background if you extended the view to the left a little in a widescreen format or something.

Thanks! Kudos for the front wheel thing go to as he came up with something like this in one of his halftrack designs I'm working on. Desktop image!? Hmmm I could give it a try. Which resolution would that be? 1280x800?

I agree. The top right image, rendered in a widescreen formet would be awesome. I'd use it. Especially with winter coming on.
