Have had this design stuck in my head for ages, refreshing to get it out.

Since the original AC armor had this super-religious look to it, I wanted the Japanese to be so too.

So, this is a mixture of the Bhikkhu suit, samurai plating, and the Assassin Creed armor. Do not really like the idea of a Buddhist monk wearing a hood, so the default is without the hood on. The mechanical hidden blade just did not seem terribly "traditionally Japanese" to me, so I replaced it with a tiny tanto.

As you can see, there is not much of the classic shiny armor to be seen. I went with a more stealthy look, the current AC armor is not exactly stealthy. It raises suspicion. It would especially raise suspicion on a monk.
