Oh God, where do I start with this insult to intellect?

Sonic X is one anime where I will fully admit that it's much better in its original unedited and uncrapified Japanese version. It might be a bitch looking for episodes with English subtitles, but trust me.

Having your ears raped by Cream's nails-on-a-chalkboard voice will be incentive enough. x____e;

I blame 4kids entirely for the epic fails seen in this anime. I can understand the need for SOME censorship, since the Japanese are a lot more lax about swear words in children's television than we are.

BUT, they took it WAY too far. :/

Any of you remember that beautiful song in the episode "Memories on the Wind"? (forgive me if I messed that up, I remember it's something like that). When Amy spots Super Sonic flying through the sky after months of absence from him and runs to her house to meet him, and when she gets there, admits that she'll wait forever for him an they come damn close to a love scene? (seriously, Sonic even gave her a rose)

If you watched the ENGLISH version, you wouldn't know what in the world i'm talking about. xD

Because 4kids, for some reason, decided that the BEAUTIFUL Japanese song should be cut out, the scene should be dramatically shortened, hell they even cut out the sign that said it was Amy's House! That, I have NO idea why. D:

But I digress, on a character I actually can't stand too. xD Just try to find the Japanese version of that episode and you'll understand how much better it is.

Because 4kids fucked up a LOT more than just that in this thing. :/

First off, the voices. Oh God, the voices. Few were actual improvements, like Espio, Blaze, Charmy, Knuckles, and Eggman (they had no choice with him). The rest? Barely tolerable.

Rouge sounds like a 40-year-old smoker hooker, instead of the lovely flirtacious voice she had before.

Amy sounds even more annoying than before, because 4kis made it possible.

Sonic sounds like he's going through PUBERTY all over again. (I MISS YOU RYAN DRUMMOND!)

Shadow's turned into this emo whisperer ghost version of himself. Sometimes I feel like he's going to start writing dark poetry on a spontaneous whim halfway through a level or something. >__>;

Vector sounds mentally retarded. FIND DAH COMPUTER ROOM!

Tails..he sounded a lot better in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. He was voiced by an actual BOY then. xD

Well, that covers my issue with 4kids voice actors. Let's move on to the REALLY intolerable element of this show. The thing that made a part of me die inside from sheer implosion of intellectual thought.

I still don't understand what makes him so special. He's a sad lonely little boy who's only purpose on the entire show is to replace Tails' rightful place as Sonic's best friend. Other than that? Sonic probably saves him just as much as Amy Rose, and I don't see that as something to be proud of.

He whines, he cries, and he makes Amy that much more tolerable. In fact, he even took AMY's place in the SA2B storyline as the one who trigers Shadow's full memory. That was a 'What the hell!' moment for me. :/

I don't like him. Plain and simple. xD

ONE MORE THING TO COVER. This is getting longer than I expected. Whew. xD

The characters got fucked up a little too.

-Shadow appearing, then disappearing, then appearing again and then disappearing AGAIN. Since when did he become Houdini? >__>;;

-Knuckles was even more aggravated than usual. Like he was constantly constipated. D:

-Cosmo. She was sweet, but horrifically predictable. I knew from the get-go she was going to be some kind of spy for the Metarex. Why else would she stick around so long? :/

-Sonic. I only say this, because of that brief moment of Dark Super Sonic. THAT was impressive and I REALLY would have loved to see Sonic do some real carnage there. But that would probably damage little children's minds and tempt them into shooting people or thinking they can fly. D:

Well, I think i'm gonna cut off there. xD If you like, comment me with your opinions! I haven't watched Sonic X in quite some time, so I bet you all could give examples I haven't thought about yet. xDD
