★ Personality:: Despite his stubbornness and unwillingness to give in to others' opinions, he is actually fairy open-minded and merely likes to put up a fight so he doesn't appear "weak". He can be rather snobbish and act over-privileged, but is much more sympathetic towards those who are injured or needy. He dislikes being in a large group and would much prefer to meditate on his own. He doesn't mind the isolation. With closer friends, he's rather mischievous and likes to tease them for fun reactions.
★ History:: He grew up with a smaller group of other Tibumeru who all eventually drifted apart for their various reasons, and Mute gradually became distant from the rest of his species as a result. He likes to train with his blindfold because he wants to hone his other senses.

★ Hobbies:: Training, eating raw fish, and collecting rings for his tail. They used to be old six-pack rings from soda cans.

Since he hardly ever uses his eyes, it's harder for him to pick up on physical social cues, and operates more or less entirely on tone inflection. He occasionally removes his blindfold if he senses the Tibumeru he's talking to is much stronger than him, but if he thinks that they are weaker, he'll keep it on. In a way, it's rather disrespectful.
He also prefers to ignore individuals that he deems "overly happy" or "too energetic".
He loves annoying Zezima mostly to see the other male's horrified reactions but generally does not tease others unless he is very close with them.
★ Legend:: Tibumeru are just a different species of mermen/mermaids.

★ Extra:: Despite his name being Mute, he can speak perfectly fine. He just prefers not to see.

He would rarely initiate a fight unless the other Tibumeru was SERIOUSLY bothering him. (aka won't leave him alone, keeps asking him questions, etc)

He is mostly nocturnal.
Despite his intimidating appearance, he is very protective of small children, regardless of what species it is.
He generally likes to speak to females more than males, and can often be a little harsher towards males.

He is a mix between a Cambodian comb/crown-tail betta fish and a Nurse shark .
