Name: Night Watch

Age: Adult (around Mr and Mrs Cake's ages)

Height: Taller than an average Stallion

Weight: Average

Personality: Night Watch is very calm and quiet, to the point of never speaking. The closest he will come to talking to another pony would be the classic bat-pony screeching noises. He takes his job pretty seriously and is very kind to young fillies and colts, going so far as to give them rides on his back or inspiring them with his strange and interesting cutie mark.

(non cutiemark oriented) History: Night Watch was born before Luna was released from the moon and was raised in a small colony of bat ponies. He was brought up basically worshiping Luna and wanted to be a guard of Nightmare Moon when she was released and took over but unfortunately wasn't qualified enough when the event of Luna being released happened. After word spread that Luna was now ruling beside Celestia, he still wanted to be a guard of her. So, he flew away from his colony and went to Canterlot. He spent a few months of just sitting and waiting outside the castle, hiding in the shadows. After a few months, he successfully stopped a pony who was trying to break in and had sneaked past the Royal Guards by using his ability to make his eyes glow. He did this by catching them as they moved through alleyways and shadows that other ponies wouldn't be able to see into. After taking them down and reporting them to the Princesses, he was dubbed an unofficial guard of the Royal sisters. Hence why he wears no armor. During the day, he sleeps among the mountains that border the castle.

Cutiemark History: As a colt, he was always taught about Luna's night and knowing the facts about night time and space had only fueled his desire to guard and protect the alicorn that controls it. It was also around this time that he realized his special ability to make his eyes glow and light up. He became pretty popular because of this and got his cutie mark. It confused him at first since it was so plain and seemingly unrelated to his glowing eyes but he looked at it while his eyes were glowing and it turned a bright golden colour under his eyes. He's not exactly sure if it's black lights that do it or just cutie mark magic. He has since decided to refer it it as being a black light cutie mark.

Fun Facts!!

- He is an extreme fanboy for Princess Luna and right after being dubbed an unofficial guard, he left the room and squeed to himself.

- He really loves animals and when nights are slow, he will search for small animals around the castle.

- He had a petblue morpho butterfly as a colt, but of course it died because a butterfly's life span is only like 115 days. He totally cried.
