Personality: Slip Knot is a very outgoing and happy stallion. He's a bit obnoxious at times but can certainly tone it down based on the mood of the room. He's more of an optimist and is more than happy to be a teacher for anyone who wants to knit. He unfortunately has some flaws too. He's bit of an insomniac, usually found in the late hours of the night and early hours of the morning, simply knitting and trying to finish peoples orders in time for their pickup. He also has horrible OCD, meaning that he will usually begin to knit something about halfway through, see a mistake, and start all over. If you knit at all, you will know the horrible, horrible, feeling... These usually lead to him sometimes dissapearing for a few days to simply knit and make everything perfect.

History: As a colt, Slip Knot loved to watch his mother, Cross Stitch, knit and embroider. He'd always be the one to run her a ball of yarn or measure out thread. She always let him make the first slip knot of everything she made, then she'd take over. Eventually, she taught him how to knit and, while he was horrible at embroidery and dropped it immediately, knitting came to him naturally. He got his cutiemark when he went to school and began to knit during recess. While he thought he would be made fun of for such a girly hobby, lots of fillies and colts actually thought it was cool and asked him how he did it. As he explained the process of a simple cast on, knit stitch, cast off, to his classmates; his cutiemark appeared! It was the same colour as the scarf he was making then, which he still wears today. Since then, he's grown up and opened a little business in ponyville where he sells yarn, knitting needles, and his own magic-stitched clothing and scarves. The name of the store is Cross Stitch Kiss, named for his late mother who got him where he is today.

Fun Facts!!

- He was originally born in Caneighda but moved to Ponyville for better buisness. He's even still got the accent.

- His name is a reference to how almost all knit apparel begins, with a slip knot.

- He enjoys Heavy Metal music (A reference to one of my friends thinking I was making a heavy metal based pony when I told her the name)

- He owns a Siamese cat named Purl.
